Stern’s Video App Delayed
SiriusXM CFO David Frear spoke at an investors conference on Thursday and said the video app announced when Howard Stern renewed his contract has been delayed until 2017. It was expected to launch this year. Frear said "We continue to work through with Howard about what product will appear on the screen. It's got to start there, with the creative element and exactly what he will present."

Memorial Ride Raises $22K In Late Host’s Name
It’s called the Blacksmith’s Ride For Life and it’s another event that sees radio helping a worthy cause. Named for longtime Morning Buzz personality Andy Blacksmith, who passed away in June of 2015 due to heart disease, the ride saw 600 motorcyclists gather in the Seacoast region of New Hampshire.
Live, Local, & Legendary: WBT Radio In Charlotte
At the 2016 Radio Show in Nashville, six stations made the final cut in the Marconi Awards Legendary Station of the Year category. Greater Media’s WBT-AM in Charlotte was one of them. To be considered for Legendary Station, the NAB requires a station to have been on the air for a minimum of 25 years. WBT/Charlotte has been around for 94.

Jimmy deCastro Leaving WGN
Jimmy deCastro is leaving WGN-AM after three-and-a-half years as president and general manager of the Tribune Broadcasting news/talk station. The announcement was made on the air Wednesday during the morning show with Steve Cochran. He told the WGN audience, "This has been one of the most wonderful experiences of my life."
From Canada To New York
Victor Giacomelli has been named DOS for Emmis in New York City, which includes HOT 97, WBLS, and WLIB. Since 2014, Giacomelli served as GSM of Bell Media in Canada. Prior to joining Bell, Giacomelli worked for Corus Radio, also in Canada.
Selena Robinson to Co-Host Mornings At 100.7 LEV
Robinson makes the move to Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley to co-host Selena and Scott, for the Cumulus station. She’ll team up with Scott Evans, who has worked mornings at the station since 2011.
