Radio Advertising Bureau CEO Erica Farber says the new website is a result of direct input from RAB's Sales Advisory committee, RAB's Local Market Advisory committee, and many RAB member stations.

On election night, the network will have live, anchored continuous coverage and special reports every 15 minutes from 7:00 p.m. ET through at least 1:00 a.m. ET Wednesday, November 9 and special reports four times per hour throughout morning drive on Wednesday. Westwood One News affiliates will also have access to custom reports from CNN correspondents and analysts covering the presidential election. Jim Bohannon will anchor the coverage Tuesday.

Entercom launches the first Christmas station in market number nine on 94.1 HD2. “The Star Christmas Channel” debuted at noon Monday. “The Star Christmas Channel” will focus on the biggest and most familiar Christmas songs all the way to Christmas day.

Fort Smith’s KLSZ-FM makes the changes from the classic country to the newer country music format. And the new weekday line-up on the station features America’s Morning Show with Ty, Kelly and Chuck (5AM-9AM,) NASH Nights Live (7PM-Midnight), and the new Blair Garner Show from Midnight-5AM.

That’s Myrtle Beach, where the duo will be the new morning team for Energy 92.1 as of October 31.

SummitMedia Birmingham station Easy 102.1-FM is that city's first all-Christmas music station. It flipped on Friday. PD John Olsen said, “This has been such an emotionally difficult year and Christmas music brings so much joy, we wanted to offer listeners the opportunity to get into the holiday spirit early this year.” Easy 102.1 will play Christmas favorites through Christmas Day.

Last week it was announced that the FCC would hold a hearing regarding the license renewal of Entercom's KDND in Sacramento. The hearing was prompted by a station contest that lead to the death of a listener. On Friday, Entercom CEO David Field issued a statement (see next story). Today we turn to broadcast attorney John Garziglia to get his thoughts on this hearing, which way it might go and what managers should do regarding their contests and contest rules.
