WNIC Detroit Adds Martinek To Mornings
iHeart's '80s Til' Now station in Detroit, WNIC-FM, have added Allyson Martinek as co-host on the Jay Towers In The Morning Show. Previously, Martinek served as the morning personality for 96.3 WDVD in Detroit.
Carlin Officially Joins Sports Radio WIP Philly

Pam Levine Appointed President Of Galaxy Events
It's a newly created position for the company owned by Ed Levine's Galaxy Communications, which also owns 14 radio stations in Syracuse and Utica-Rome. Galaxy Events owns events including Wine and Chocolate Festivals, K-Rockathon, Taste of Syracuse, and many more.
Beasley Q3 Revenue Jumps 5.6%
It continues to be a great week for Beasley Media. First the close of the Greater Media deal, then an earnings release with a nice bump in revenue. The $1.5 million increase in top-line revenue for the third quarter was attributed to great quarters turned in by the company’s Tampa, Charlotte, and Fayetteville markets. Both Tampa and Charlotte were markets Beasley picked up from CBS Radio back in 2014.
Beasley Laser Focused On Reducing Debt
Being able to spin off four stations to Entercom in Charlotte for $24 million as part of the Greater Media transaction will play a big part in helping Caroline Beasley bring down the company's debt. And that's what she plans to use that money for. Keeping debt low is why Beasley says the outlook for more growth is attractive.
Caroline Beasley Named Permanent Beasley CEO
She's been interim CEO Since March, following George Beasley’s medical leave of absence. As of January 1, the interim tag comes off and Caroline Beasley will become the company's permanent Chief Executive Officer.

Trump Turns To Radio In Final Week
He's been MIA from radio for the most part, however, Breitbart reports Donald Trump is running new radio ads on Christian radio stations in battleground states including Ohio, Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Iowa, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, Wisconsin, Michigan, Virginia, and Arizona. The ad is called "Stand," and it's aimed at evangelical voters and features Liberty University’s Jerry Falwell, Jr. Here's the text of the ad.
