Adams Radio Group’s Las Cruces, NM, cluster has named Aleta Gross to the position. Most recently, Adams worked for NRG Media’s cluster in Dixon, Illinois, from 1997-2015. Adams assumes her new role on November 28.

A little more than one year on the job, Cumulus CEO Mary Berner continues to state progress is being made in the turnaround of the company but the challenges are still substantial.

For the past year one of the biggest challenges CEO Mary Berner has said plagued the company was a toxic culture. And it's hard to turn around a company when you have employees who do not want to work for you. However, Berner says the culture is changing.

It was reported in the New York City press over the weekend that Imus never gave legendary sports anchor Warner Wolf a reason he was booted from the show. And on Tuesday it was announced that Sid Rosenberg would return to the Imus program as sports anchor.

Don Dalesio will join the company as its new Chief Operating Officer and Market President. He will have complete oversight of Press’ marketing, sales, promotions, programming, and digital sales efforts as well as overall general management of the day-to-day operations.

That was the statement from John Abbot, Cumulus' Chief Financial Officer, who's been on the job now for four months. And, he's been spending the majority of his time trying to deal with that debt, which is $2 billion.

The country music will flow this Thanksgiving with the four-hour, commercial-free CMT Thanksgiving Special with Cody Alan. Premiere Networks announced the Thanksgiving special for Country stations, Thursday. The special will feature country hits as well as holiday-themed songs, hosted by CMT personality Alan.

For the third quarter, Saga's net operating same-station radio revenue dropped slightly from $27.8 million in 2015 to $27.6 million in 2016. For the first nine months of 2016, Saga's same station net revenue for its radio stations was up about $1 million. The company took in $529,000 in political radio revenue in Q3 and has booked $1.9 million in political radio revenue for the year so far.

iHeartMedia's KLOU-FM in St. Louis has named Jules Riley PD at the "Greatest Hits of the '70s and '80s" station. Riley has over 15 years experience, including Ops Manager, Brand Manager, PD, and host. She moves to St. Louis from Tulsa where she was Operations Manager for Scripps' KVOO-FM. From 2005 until 2008, Riley was PD for WARH-FM and KMVN-FM in St. Louis, where she was named one of Radio Ink’s Best Program Directors in America in 2007.

News Director Rob Graham is retiring after 32 years with WINA Charlottesville. Graham joined WINA in 1982 and was there until 2000 when he went into public relations, returning to WINA two years later.
