What do you get when 600 people come together for a Thanksgiving meal? In Des Moines, you get donations for the needy and a shot at a Guinness world record. On November 6, the good people from Cumulus-Des Moines brought together the 600 for a fun attempt at a world record, and to raise awareness for the needy as Thanksgiving approaches.

Mary Burney has joined NextRadio's TagStation as the National Sales Director. She joins the company from iHeartMedia in Detroit, where she was National AE. Prior to iHeartMedia, Burney was an Account Executive with Bell Media Radio in Canada. She also worked at Clear Channel Radio Sales in Troy, Radio One in Detroit and Interep National Radio Sales.

Counter-terrorism expert and television commentator Allison Barrie now has her own podcast. Tactical Talk with Allison Barrie will feature men and women who have served the United States in the military, intelligence, and first responders’ space.

The New York State Broadcasters Association recently elected its new officers and board of directors in New York City. Galaxy Communications CEO Ed Levine was elected chairman of the board. He replaces V.P. and GM of Quincy Broadcasting’s WBNG-TV in Binghamton, Bob Krummenacker.

Starting November 14, The Dave Ramsey Show will be heard on channel 145 on SiriusXM. The personal money management guru's show will run Monday through Friday from 2:00-5:00 p.m. ET.

Y100 Miami announced Thursday that Franco “Frankie P” Pagliaro will be their new nighttime host effective Monday, November 14. Pagliaro’s shift will be Monday through Friday 6-10 p.m. He will report to Alex Tear, Regional Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Miami.

Dominic “Zakk” Zaccagnini in now the PD for Classic Rocker 107.7 The Bone/KSAN-FM. He was previously APD/Music Director, a position he held since July, 2015. He'll continue to host PM Drive.

The former ESPN NBA Analyst is now with FOX Sports Radio. Chris Broussard will make frequent appearances across the 24-7 sports radio network as a guest and contributor, and he'll launch the first of two weekend programs this Saturday. Co-hosted by FSR personality Brian Noe, the duo will broadcast from 5 to 8 p.m. PT on 200 stations nationwide.

ESPN play-by-play man Brent Musburger was honored by WFUV 90.7 FM at “On the Record: A Celebration of Achievement in News and Sports Broadcasting” at the Fordham University School of Law on November 9.
