The Fredericksburg, Virginia, Hot AC WBQB (B101.5) raised the titanic sum while broadcasting the 3rd Annual Care-athon to benefit Children’s National Health System on November 3 and 4. The two-day, 28-hour event was broadcast live from the Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Fresno Gets Some Holiday Cheer
iHeart's Soft Rocker in Fresno has become the Valley’s Official Christmas Music station. Soft Rock 98.9 FM will play holiday music 24 hours a day, all the way through Christmas Day. PD Steve Weed said, “After the long and chaotic election season, people are ready to shift to family, loved ones and the holidays. You’ll hear all of your favorite Christmas songs along with standards performed by contemporary artists."
