Beasley's Country station in Boston, WKLB-FM, is adding Jackson Blue to its morning show. He joins Hannah Byrom. Blue was promoted from hosting Afternoon Drive on WBQT-FM in Boston to this new co-host position on WKLB.

In his Nielsen ratings tampering case, Todd Clem (Bubba The Love Sponge), is asking the judge to throw out the "expert testimony" of David Haas. Haas was brought in by Nielsen to attempt to calculate the damages done to Nielsen as a result of the tampering Nielsen is alleging. Clem wants the testimony tossed because he says Haas is no expert.

Last night the major annual fundraiser for the Broadcasters Foundation was held in New York City at the Plaza Hotel. Meredith Corporation's Paul Karpowitz received the Golden Mike Award and CMG's Bill Hoffman was given the 2017 Lifetime Leadership Award. Sean McMaster posted his departure from the Townsquare station on Facebook, Monday. He said it was with mixed emotions that he wrote this post: "Today was my last day at WGNA. After more than 20 years of sharing my life with the greatest listeners of all time, this even to me, seems to be unbelievable'."

Naveen Chopra replaces Mike Herring, who had served as Pandora’s CFO since March 2013, and took on the role of president in March 2016. Herring will focus his attention on advertising and subscription growth. Chopra joined TiVo in 2003 and most recently served as the company’s interim CEO from January 2016 until its acquisition by Rovi in September 2016.

Rob Scorpio (pictured) has been named Senior VP of Programming for the San Diego/Riverside region, and Kid Jay is the new PD for KGGI-FM in Riverside. Currently, Scorpio oversees iHeartRadio’s six stations in Riverside/San Bernadino, while also acting as PD for KSSX-FM in San Diego and KGGI-FM in Riverside.

Megaphone is a podcast hosting and ad-serving platform from Panoply. Clients include BuzzFeed, WBUR, and Gimlet.

Univision makes the announcement that it is shifting its morning show on La X 96.3 FM from mostly music to The Luis Jimenez Show. Jimenez and his crew broadcast a mix of sketches, stunts, and song parodies, and host guest stars from entertainment, sports, and politics.

We are experiencing this in spite of ever-increasing competition, new audio delivery systems, and continually emerging technologies that all compete for our listeners’ time. The delivery of our product via the FM band is the single most important factor in our continued success. Accordingly we need to protect it.

A new blog by NAB VP of Spectrum Policy Patrick McFadden details how the FCC's TV spectrum incentive auction points out how some radio stations might be impacted. For example, McFadden says, "many towers that are home to repacked television stations are also home to FM radio stations, which are not being repacked."
