Kriegler Assumes US Sales Manager Role At Omnia
Broadcast tech company The Telos Alliance—announced today that it has appointed Paul Kriegler as Omnia US Sales Manager, Radio Processing. Telos is the parent company of Omnia. Kriegler has more than 25 years of broadcast management and programming experience, most recently as Operations Manager for Lotus Radio Corporation in Reno.
Listeners Start Petition To Save WBZ
Nearly 800 listeners in Boston have signed a petition started by Boston WBZ News listener Benjamin Goodman. The website that promotes the petition states, "We are New Englanders deeply concerned that WBZ's recent acquisition by iHeartMedia is poised to undermine a critical public service to citizens who rely on WBZ for critical content."

West Palm Pirate Cannot Hide
On July 17, August 28, and October 4, agents from the Miami Office of the FCC’s Enforcement Bureau confirmed radio signals at 92.9 were emanating from the property of James Seitz on Rockey Dr. in West Palm Beach. The Commission previously warned Seitz back in 2013 about operating a pirate station. Seitz has 10 days to respond to the Commission and shut down his illegal operation.
iHeart Signs New Deal With Nielsen
Nielsen has signed a multi-year agreement with radio's largest company. The deal covers all PPM and diary measured markets. In all, 150 markets iHeart operates in will be measured by Nielsen. The agreement also includes the use of Nielsen data and services for Katz Media Group, Premiere, and Total Traffic & Weather Network.
