WGN Walk Of Fame Adds Five Honorees

WGN Radio has announced its fifth class in the 2018 Walk of Fame. The 2018 class is: Pierre Andre, David Kaplan, Chuck Swirsky, Roger Triemstra, and Mary Van De Velde. The inductees will be celebrated in a ceremony and live broadcast from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Friday, May 18.

New Entercom Host Creates Controversy With Tweet

...Or is it Buzz? Kevin Klein, who begins hosting mornings on 97.3 The Game in San Diego Thursday, sent out a tweet that included a picture of the Coronado bridge, followed by:  “JUMP … to a new morning show." And that has some in the San Diego community outraged.

Not only is the team asking Entercom to apologize for new host Kevin Klein's tweet -- using the picture of a San Diego bridge to ask listeners to "jump" to a new station -- they are also voicing their displeasure with the station's new format. And, it's being reported they are considering canceling their deal with Entercom.
