More Sports Coming to San Francisco
Entercom has launched sports content on KGMZ-AM in San Francisco. The station will simulcast content from sister station 95.7-FM 'THE GAME'. The station had been under an LMA, programming Radio Zindagi, an entertainment and information format targeting the 280,000 South Asians in the Bay Area.
Aldean Performs To Aid Cancer Research
iHeartMedia Chicago's BIG 95.5 presented Jason Aldean, Back to the Bar with three-time and reigning ACM “Entertainer of the Year" Jason Aldean, at Joe's on Weed St. on Sunday, April 29. The event raised over $32,000 with all proceeds going to Susan G. Komen for Breast Cancer research.
Porretti Upped At Katz
Scott Porretti has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Digital for Katz Media Group. In the newly created position, Porretti, who currently oversees the company’s digital audio sales across the country, will now also oversee digital video sales operations nationwide.

iHeartMedia has launched a news podcast called The Daily Dive – a 15-minute podcast that posts each weekday at 6 a.m. ET. The Daily Dive is hosted by iHeartMedia’s Los Angeles-based producer, writer, and editor, Oscar Ramirez.
Berner Earns $5.25 Million in 2017
According to a new SEC filing, three of Cumulus' top executives earned a combined $8.8 million in 2017 with all three executives more than doubling their income in one year. With over $2 billion in debt, Cumulus has been in Chapter 11 bankruptcy since late last year.
iHeartMedia Q4 Revenue up Slightly
The company announced its Q4 2017 and full-year revenue Monday with iHeartMedia (radio) gaining 0.3%, or $2.7 million, in Q4 and 1.2%, or $39.9 million, for the year. The increase in Q4 is iHeart's 19th consecutive quarter of revenue growth in its radio division.
