Results Radio announces has appointed Mike Anthony as Market Manager for its Chico, CA, station cluster and Carlos Casarez as the Director of Local/Regional Sales for its Chico cluster and National Sales Manager for all of Results Radio’s 13 stations. 

Dallas-Fort Worth’s Lone Star 92.5 Classic Rock has announced that Bo Roberts and Jim White, hosts of The Bo and Jim Show, will join the Texas Radio Hall of Fame. Roberts and White will officially be inducted into the Hall of Fame on November 3 in Kilgore, Texas.

Radio personality Lani Q is the new full-time midday talent at Top 40/Rhythmic station KWI-FM in Modesto-Stockton, CA. Lani Q can be heard on KWIN-FM, Monday-Friday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. PST.

WEEI Boston morning show co-host Kirk Minihane took to Twitter Thursday to let listeners know he would be on indefinite leave to continue his battle with mental health issues.

He had previously been banned from several social media sites for one week because of his behavior. Now Twitter has permanently banned the controversial host. Thursday Twitter announced both Alex Jones and his Infowars accounts are gone for good.

KEGA-FM in Salt Lake City has pulled an ad opposing Utah’s Proposition 2. According to The Salt Lake Tribune the station received complaints that the commercial airing included false and misleading statements about medical marijuana. The Drug Safe Utah coalition was paying for the ads.

Emmis Radio in Austin has cut a cool deal with Austin City Limits Enterprises in that market. KGSR, which has been a Triple A format since 1990, has been reborn as Austin City Limits Radio. Listeners can expect to hear artists ranging from Willie Nelson to Kendrick Lamar, Ed Sheeran to Kacey Musgraves, and Radiohead to Gary Clark Jr.

Entercom will host the “I’m Listening” broadcast, a two-hour live commercial-free broadcast special across all of its stations, to raise awareness around mental health and suicide prevention as part of its multi-platform “I’m Listening” campaign.
