Veteran programmer Scott Lindy has joined the Partner Success team at Futuri Media. Lindy was most recently PD at Country station WKHX Kicks 101.5 Atlanta and Cumulus corporate Program Director.

Nashville Urban AC station 92Q/WQQK-FM will debut The Kenny Smoov Morning Show on October 11. Smoov is a longtime Nashville air talent and The Tennessean’s 2017 Favorite Radio Personality of the Year.

Hip hop pioneer Shante will host a new two-hour daily show exclusively on LL COOL J's Rock The Bells Radio on SiriusXM.

It’s the one award that recognizes and celebrates the sales, marketing, and management side of the industry. I'd like to discuss what the awards represent, and the attributes of the folks who get nominated.

The FCC announced that Sergio Plasencia has entered into a Consent Decree to resolve his issue with The FCC, close down his illegal operation and pay a slap-on-the-wrist fine of $2,680. Plasenia was broadcasting at 101.9 and 107.3 in Miami.

On Wednesday the two companies announced that Pandora will take over handling the U.S. advertising for SoundCloud. Under the deal, Pandora becomes the exclusive operator of SoundCloud’s advertising business.

Bruce Law is the new Market Manager for Cumulus' five stations in Grand Rapids, MI. Law, a Michigan native, was the Market Manager for Saga's cluster in Ashville, NC. He's also worked for Townsquare Media in Quad Cities, IA/IL. Law replaces Jeff Cartwright who left the company. 

Premiere has announced a new weekend lineup on FOX Sports Radio. FSR will feature programming dedicated to both college and pro football hosted by different personalities, analysts, and former players. Joining the fall lineup is Bucky Brooks (left), who teams up with Mark Willard to host Saturdays from 4 to 8 p.m. ET.

Here comes the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour 2018. The full artist line-up will be announced October 9. The tour will stop in Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, Washington, DC, Chicago, Atlanta, Tampa, and Miami/Ft. Lauderdale.
