Univision Radio Up 1% In Q4

The Hispanic-focused broadcaster reported total revenue for its radio division of $72.8 million in Q4 of 2016, compared to $72.1 million a year earlier. If you back out political, radio would have decreased 3.6% to $66.8 million from $69.3 million. Univision owns 67 radio stations in the U.S. and Puerto Rico.

The University of Miami Athletics and Miami’s Sports Radio 560 announced Thursday that they have entered into a multi-year extension for the station to remain the flagship radio home of Miami Hurricanes games. The station has been a broadcast partner since the 1999 NCAA football season.
