Jared Hart is the new AM Operations Manager for Cumulus Albuquerque’s three AM radio stations. Hart will also serve as Program Director for the company’s heritage News Radio KKOB, The Sports Animal KNML, and Talk Business KTBL.

Podcasts on the Beasley Podcast Network, bPod Studios, were downloaded more than 10 million times in the quarter, an increase of 15% or 1.3 million downloads, from 2018.

Tulsa authorities have arrested 37 year old Angie West for her role in the electrocution of a man at KRMG's tower. Reports out of Tulsa say she'll be charged with first degree murder. So far she's only been charged with a felony for trying to steal copper from KRMG's transmitter site.

The Westwood One Podcast Network has hired four people for its podcast production department. Madena Parwana, Lou Pellegrino, Rebekah Wineman and Sarah McCrory have all joined the network's podcasting division, which is owned by Cumulus.

4.8% of the overall political ad revenue pie, according to BIA. That amounts to $312 million if BIA's projections are accurate at the end of next year. BIA estimates $6.55 billion will be spent on local political advertising in 2020. L.A, Phoenix and Philadelphia will be the big market winners.
