100 Holiday Channel Pledge
Chicago based AccuRadio is working on putting up 100 holiday music channels by Christmas. Last year the independent personal radio streamer had 81 channels of holiday music.

Texas AM, Translator in Texas Sell For $162K
ATW Media and ATW Creative Services has sold KYZS-AM (1490) and an FM translator that puts the station on 95.7-FM in Tyler Texas to Chalk Hill Communications for $162,500. John Saunders brokered the deal for both sides.

Lazer Broadcasting unveiled its new Lazer Media logo and name change at a recent event in Beverly Hills. The company owns 40 Spanish-language radio stations across 20 markets in California and Reno, Nevada.
Former Detroit DJ Killed
Art Vuolo tells Radio Ink that former Detroit DJ John O’Leary was murdered in his home over the weekend. He was stabbed to death, allegedly by a roommate, according to police. O'Leary lived in Detroit's Highland Park. O'Leary was 68.
Steve Harvey Giving Away More Turkeys
For the 12th year in a row, The Steve Harvey Morning Show and Premiere Networks will give away thousands of turkeys. Nearly 9,000 turkeys will be provided to the more than 100 affiliates to help those less fortunate celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday.
