Bills And Sabres Extend With WGR Buffalo
Entercom Buffalo and Pegula Sports and Entertainment have extended their broadcast partnership between WGR Sportsradio 550 and the NFL's Bills and NHL's Sabres through the 2020-21 seasons. NextRadio Expands Into Latin America
Peru and Mexico are the latest countries to offer NextRadio, joining the United States and Canada. Partnering with the Ambassadors Office in Peru, NextRadio hosted a promotional event on August 10, officially announcing the launch of NextRadio in Peru. The event included 75 guests from all major broadcasters, large advertising agencies, and dignitaries from Peru.
Westergren: Radio Is An Unsophisticated Audio Product
He's never hidden the fact that broadcast radio is his biggest competitor and Wednesday was no exception. The Pandora CEO was answering questions at the Citi Global Technology Conference in New York and was asked about selling ads in the local markets. It was a perfect chance for Westergren to take a swipe at radio. But he also mentioned something his company will never be able to do, something radio will always be number one at.
What Does Wetergren Say About His On-Demand Product?
That it will be unlike any other on the market, of course. Westergren said there are only two real alternatives now: free radio and the subscription product. And about those other subscription products, Westergren isn't impressed.
