Bubba Files Suit Against Nielsen, Cox, Calta
The Bubba The Love Sponge (Todd Clem) ratings tampering case with Nielsen just took an interesting turn. Bubba has filed a 46-page counterclaim against Nielsen, and has dragged Cox and Cox Tampa morning man Mike Calta into the case, claiming they conspired against him and Beasley Media.

2016 Was The Best in 5 Years
The Visa Retail Spending Monitor says in 2016 retail sales grew 4.8% on Visa payment products. E-commerce spending was up 19%, 5% higher than 2015. Money spent on e-commerce in 2016 made up 24% of the total spend, of from 21% in 2015.

According to an 8K filed Friday the iHeartMedia Board of Directors approved retention bonuses for CEO Bob Pittman for $1.75 million, CFO Richard Bressler for $1.75 million and VP of Corporate Finance Steven Macri for $750,000.

Cumulus CEO Also Gets Big Bonus
