Presenters for the 29th Annual National Radio Hall of Fame Induction ceremony have been announced. Among them are Entercom CEO David Field and CBS Radio Host Scott Shannon. The ceremony is November 2 at the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago. Here's the entire list of presenters.

On October 18, city council members unanimously voted to pass a resolution, strongly endorsing the efforts of both SAG-AFTRA and the Spanish Broadcasting System. The resolution calls for both entities to engage in good faith negotiations and reach a fair contract with a living wage for talent providing on-air services for two popular LA Spanish-language music stations

iHeartMedia Orlando has partnered with Baby DJ, Inc., XL1067 on-air personality Johnny Magic’s non-profit organization, and Experience Kissimmee, the tourism authority for Osceola County, to host "Unite for Puerto Rico Celebrity Softball Game" to benefit Hurricane Maria victims.

Country music superstars Rascal Flatts surprised attendees at Beasley Media Group's “Vegas Strong: A Night of Healing” when the band walked on stage to do a special live performance. The fundraising event took place Thursday, Oct. 19 at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, and featured Big & Rich and singer-songwriter Cam.

The country music world is again paying tribute to the U.S. military. Westwood One and Kix Brooks will honor the men and women who, throughout our nation's history, served and are still serving in the armed forces with Brooks’ annual “A Salute to Our Military Veterans.”

The deadline is fast approaching for Country Radio Hall of Fame Class of 2018 nominations.  Submissions are still being accepted and must be received by October 27, 2017. Interested parties can submit applications at www.countryradioseminar.com.

CEO David Field said the CBS exchange offer was "another important step forward towards the completion of our transformational merger with CBS Radio." Field went on to tell his team how happy he was about what lies ahead.
