94.5 KTI’s “Truck for the Troops” radiothon raised $41,896 to replace a broken-down service vehicle for USO Wisconsin. The all-new truck has all the mod cons, and will mainly serve service members training at Fort McCoy. The radiothon ran from 5 a.m.-5 p.m. on Friday, November 10.

JC Penney Nudges Down GEICO
On the Media Monitors weekly spot chart, JC Penney aired 42,743 commercials on radio stations all over the country to push GEICO into third place (39,035). The Home Depot held onto top place with 60,366 spots. With the holiday season approaching, national jewelry chain Jared enters the top five, at number four, with 27,217 commercials.
