Westwood One News won the Sigma Delta Chi award from The Society of Professional Journalists for its breaking news coverage of the Las Vegas concert shooting last October. The winning entry included on-scene reporting by correspondent Jim Roope and contributions from the entire Westwood One News staff.

The Country Radio Broadcasters has announced that individual tickets and tables are available for the 2018 Country Radio Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Awards ceremony being held June 20 in Nashville. Individual tickets are $130 each.
