After a barrage of news reports Thursday that a pirate radio station in Austin that was airing Alex Jones content, Jones issued a statement on his Infowars website. He said he does not operate any radio or TV station anywhere in the country and claims that he's running an illegal station in Austin are a complete and total hoax.

Let’s Look at the SBS Numbers
From the official SEC filing, SBS reported total net revenue in Q2 of $34.8 million, slightly higher than the $34.2 million from Q2 2017. For the first six months of 2018 SBS's net revenue came in at $68.7 million, an increase of 2% over the first six months of 2017. So what about the radio division?

Summit Cranks Up The Revenue
With the purchase of 19 Scripps stations, we checked in with BIA's Mark Fratrik who tells us the Scripps stations generated $35,675,000 in over-the-air advertising revenue in 2017. Add that to what BIA reports for SummitMedia ($54 million) and that increases Summit’s total to $89,775,00.
It’s Over And Out For Scripps
It was back in 2014 that Scripps announced it was merging with Journal Communications, snatching up 34 radio stations, TV stations, and newspapers. In January, Scripps announced it was planning to sell all of its radio stations so the company could focus on television. Mission accomplished.
Results Radio Recovering From Huge CA Fire
Four of the five radio stations owned by Results Radio in Redding were affected by the historic Carr Fire in California, which has already consumed over 210,000 acres. Early in the fire, Results lost mountain-top transmitter sites on South Fork Mountain and Shasta Bally Mountain for four of its five stations.
