Francesa Opens Up On Twitter

Mike Francesa took to Twitter to respond to Andrew Marchand’s first column in The New York Post which claimed WFAN was negotiating with Adam Schein to replace him. Francesa said he responded on Twitter because of the “outrageous misinformation and outright lies that continue to be reported.”

As Radio Ink reported Friday, and Francesa repeated on Twitter, he’s told Entercom that if he stays he would consider adding another person to the program. He says that was his idea. “Nothing can be done in that area without my approval, and NOTHING has been done.”

Francessa then tweeted about his deal with WFAN. “My deal with Entercom is complicated and involves WFAN, http://Radio.com , the Mike’sOn app, CAA, Draftkings and a few other concerns. I have a long-term offer from WFAN. I haven’t signed it.”

Marchand writes that Francesa’s twitter storm is a cry for help.
