iHeartMedia has announced that the 2016 Daytime Village during the iHeartRadio Music Festival will feature live performances by Sam Hunt and Alessia Cara, with more artists to be announced. The Daytime Village will also feature fan zones and interactive experiences by iHeartRadio's brand partners. The Daytime Village will be held across from the Luxor Hotel and Casino on Saturday, September 24.

As of January 29, iTunes Radio will no longer be free. The service which was launched back in 2013 will cost $10.00 per month. Beats 1 will be the only music service available for free from Apple. STRATA announced Thursday that all of iHeartMedia's digital audio inventory is now available to ad buyers through STRATA's systems. It now gives over 1,000 advertising agencies the ability to access iHeartMedia's digital inventory using STRATA's media buying system. Ad buyers and agencies can now view iHeartMedia's digital audio inventory in STRATA's systems, including data on local markets, audience, and ratings.

The concept was created by The Huffington Post and hosted by Sam Stein and Jason Cherkis. It's called 'Candidate Confessional' which focuses on the rough-and-tumble business of political elections.

After the passing of the music icon, SiriusXM is bringing back the David Bowie Channel to honor his career and life. The exclusive, limited-run channel, which originally aired in 2013, will feature music from Bowie's entire career, from his earliest recordings through his most recent release Blackstar, as well as rare tracks and demo versions of some of Bowie's greatest songs. The David Bowie Channel will run now through January 18 on SiriusXM's The Loft, channel 30.

It's the third year for the event which, this year, will be held on April 30, and once again in Austin. Already announced for the show are Florida Georgia Line, Brett Eldredge, Sam Hunt, Thomas Rhett, Cole Swindell, Miranda Lambert, Lee Brice, Chris Young, Keith Urban, and The Zac Brown Band.
