New Podcast Looks At “Infamous” Side Of The Famous

It’s called What Really Happened? and is produced by Seven Bucks Productions, co-founded by Dany Garcia and Dwayne Johnson, together with Cadence13, a creator of premium, on-demand audio entertainment. The show will be hosted and co-produced by award-winning filmmaker and documentarian, Andrew Jenks.

Launching October 25, the show chronicles Jenks as he re-examines famous figures and iconic historical events, discovering untold stories and unraveling newfound narratives in a contemporary context. Featured identities will include Muhammad Ali, Chris Christie, Princess Diana, Michael Jordan, Britney Spears, and Adolf Hitler.

“We’ve picked some of the most talked-about stories in history and are going to unpack the truth for our audience,” said executive producer and Seven Bucks co-founder Dwayne Johnson. “We are excited to have Jenks on board to help share these stories and utilize a medium of storytelling the Seven Bucks team hasn’t used before.”

What Really Happened? will be available for subscription or listening on-demand through Apple Podcasts, Google Play, Spotify, Stitcher, and TuneIn, among other distribution outlets.
