The fan-voted 2018 CMT Music Awards will be simulcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, June 6, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The live radio broadcast of the Awards telecast will air on more than 120 iHeartCountry music radio stations.

As part of its new multi-year agreement with KNBR-AM, The San Francisco Giants will become the first Major League Baseball team to offer free, in-market live streaming of its radio broadcasts. The live stream will be delivered by TuneIn.

iHeartMedia and entertainment creative house Einhorn’s Epic Productions announced a new partnership to produce Lethal Lit -- an iHeartRadio Original six-episode mystery podcast series for teen audiences. The show will launch this fall.

High 5 Media is the parent company of YEA Networks. It has acquired a majority interest in podcast company Spoke Media, which creates podcasts in narrative journalism, serial fiction, and interview/chat shows. Spoke Media was founded by audiobook director Keith Reynolds.

WNYC Studios and Roger Bennett of the sports show Men in Blazers have announced American Fiasco — a 12-episode podcast series chronicling the U.S. men’s soccer team and their disastrous bid to win the 1998 World Cup.

Beasley’s K104.7 FM Phil & Mel in the Morning’s new podcast Relationship ICU is so named “because sometimes relationships need some intensive care.” It’s being touted as a fun, insightful, and slightly irreverent (PG-13) take on the way people attempt to get along on the rocky road of relationships.

AdLarge Media's digital audio division cabana has expanded its podcast portfolio into the true-crime genre with Crime Junkie, hosted by crime enthusiast Ashley Flowers. Flowers tells stories taken from crimes across the country, including new evidence on unsolved mysteries, current investigations, manhunts and captures.

The NextRadio app, which allows users to hear, see, and interact with live, local FM radio, has now been launched for smartphones in Mexico, including an iOS version for iPhone mobile device users.

Cadence13 and newsletter MarketSnacks have announced a new podcast series called MarketSnacks Daily. It will provide a daily take on key business stories happening from Wall Street to Silicon Valley, and in between, in a quick, digestible, entertaining format.
