SiriusXM Extends Deal With Acura, Honda

SiriusXM's connected-vehicle services division has signed a new five-year deal to provide driver-related data to Acura and Honda vehicles.

Triton Digital has signed a deal with European radio and podcast aggregator Radioline. Radioline joins Triton's a2x programmatic audio advertising exchange. This partnership enables the programmatic purchase of online digital audio inventory on Radioline’s website to start, with TV and mobile inventory becoming available this summer.

NextRadio, IBS Launch Contest

College students nationwide can create and submit a sixty second radio commercial promoting Emmis' NextRadio. NextRadio and the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System have teamed up in search of the best radio spot showcasing FM Chip in smartphones. The winner will have his or her spot included in an upcoming run of NextRadio commercials.

The Podcasting platform says it is running a large national radio ad campaign on hundreds of USA iHeartRadio radio stations promoting podcasting and Spreaker’s audio creation, publishing and distribution platform.

NPR Picks Triton For Podcast Distribution

NPR’s podcast catalogue includes Fresh Air, TED Radio Hour, Hidden Brain, Invisibilia and a wide variety of additional on-demand content covering science, music, pop culture, comedy, and news. NPR has chosen Triton’s Tap Podcast for distribution and monetization of its podcast content.

Google Honors Cox For Customer Satisfaction

Triton Says 2015 Was a Big Year For Streaming

As part of its December ranker, Triton also released some statistics from 2015 which said overall streaming reached an all-time high in 2015. Average Active Sessions increased by 13.3 percent for the Monday-Friday 6:00AM-8:00PM daypart and by 13.6 percent for the Monday-Sunday 6:00AM-Midnight daypart.

It's called "Browse" and Pandora says it helps users discover even more of the music they'll love. The new tool gives users nonstop discovery of new stations based on their listening activity and users can see what's playing on a station before adding it to their station list.
