Chief Operating Officer Lloyd Parker has announced his upcoming departure from WAY-FM.
Parker said, “Ellen and I haven’t been able to live near our kids for over 10 years. The opportunity to be near Taryn opened up this summer and with much prayer decided it was a good time to make the move. Our regret is that our son Rory and his family couldn’t live closer to us. We wish God’s richest blessings for the entire WAY team and ministry. We have very fond memories of this chapter in our lives.”
WAY-FM President & CEO John Scaggs said, “Lloyd is a joy to work with and know on both a personal and professional level. Just in the last year, Lloyd pulled-off three major projects all the while running the WAY operation. It is an understatement to say it is going to be hard filling the void Lloyd’s departure creates. I know I speak for all the WAY team when I say we will miss Lloyd’s daily contribution. I am grateful Lloyd can take what he’s learned and accomplished at WAY, K-LOVE/Air1, and other places and further serve organizations in this next phase of his storied career.”
