The Broadcasters Foundation of America brought its 2026 Media Mixer tour to a conclusion in the Windy City on October 7 at the Museum of Broadcast Communications, one night ahead of the Radio Hall of Fame induction ceremony at the Fairmont Chicago.
More than 150 broadcast professionals attended the networking, educational, and social event, which featured iHeartMedia Chairman and CEO Bob Pittman and Fred of The Fred Show. The Media Mixer was presented in partnership with the museum and the Illinois Broadcasters Association.
The 2026 tour stopped in New York and Cleveland, with more dates planned for 2027.
Since 2007, the Foundation’s annual grant-making has grown from $400,000 to nearly $2 million, supporting roughly 400 current and former broadcasters each year.
