What if a radio station sold itself as a growth partner for local businesses instead of a place to buy spots? That question drives The Radio Rally podcast’s Q4 sales event, hosted by Rainmaker Pathway’s Loyd Ford and CD Media Consulting’s Chris Fleming.
“Rethink Radio Revenue” will be available Thursday, October 8, after 8p ET. It explores how stations can become local business growth companies powered by their relationships, audience, content, personalities, data, and community access. Ford and Fleming are joined by Josh Brown, a broadcast media sales and marketing executive with Rome Radio Partners and Radio Ink columnist, as well as Sunny 93.3 (KZOY-AM) owner and General Manager Big John Small of Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
Listeners can subscribe to the podcast on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or Audible. The episode will also live in the RPC Growth Library at RainmakerPathway.com.
The event follows the Q3 edition in July, headlined by Cox Media Group’s Brian McGhee and ADX Communications’ Jeff Wayne, and the Q2 roundtable in April with Seven Mountains Media’s Kristen Cantrell and Stingray Radio’s Dean Rutherford.
