Compass Media Networks Extends Big Ten Audio Partnership

Compass Media Networks has renewed its exclusive national audio rights to the Big Ten men’s basketball tournament and football championship game, while adding coverage of the conference’s women’s basketball tournament under a fresh multi-year agreement.

Under the new deal, Compass keeps its exclusive national audio rights to the TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament and the Discover Big Ten Football Championship Game, rights the company has held since 2010, while adding exclusive national audio rights to the Allstate Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament for the first time, with coverage set to begin at the 2027 championship game.

Big Ten Network SVP, Programming & Digital Media Michael Calderon said, “We are thrilled to renew this partnership and especially happy for our partners and fans who will continue to have full access to these broadcasts nationwide…We are especially pleased to debut national audio cover of the Women’s Big Ten Tournament’s Championship Game this coming March.”

Compass General Manager of Sports Programming Robert Blum said, “We are honored to continue this special partnership and look forward to our upcoming coverage of the Discover Big Ten Football Championship Game, the TIAA Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament and for the first time the Allstate Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament.”
