
For the 9th Annual Screamin’ Scott Scramble, Beasley Media Group Detroit 94.7 WCSX personality Screamin’ Scott Randall traded Morning Drive for a different kind of drive. The charity golf outing teed up on August 2 in support of The Rainbow Connection.
This year’s event broke records, netting $25,341 in donations for The Rainbow Connection. The nonprofit grants wishes to Michigan children facing life-threatening medical conditions, sparking joy amid unimaginably difficult circumstances.
Event attendees were introduced to this year’s Wish Kid, Carson, a three-year-old fighting leukemia who wished to visit Disney at the start of next year to meet Mickey Mouse and Moana.
The yearly scramble returned to Fern Hill Golf Club in Clinton Township, drawing listeners, local businesses, and golfers to give a little green to a good cause. As golfers made their way through the 18 holes, they were treated to food, raffles, and uniquely memorable holes sponsored by community partners.
