Hope Media Group is putting former NASA and Gloo executive Nick Skytland in charge of its digital future. Skytland joins the ministry behind KSBJ, WayFM, Vida Unida, Worship 24/7, and Hope Nation as its very first Chief Impact Officer, starting on August 17.

Skytland joins Hope Media Group with more than 25 years of experience in strategy, technology, and audience engagement. He most recently served as Vice President of AI at Gloo, a faith-based technology platform, where he directed product development, research, and platform strategy.

He previously held senior executive positions at NASA, leading early-stage technology development and pioneering business development, strategic partnerships, and innovation initiatives.

Hope Media Group President and CEO Joe Paulo said, “The addition of Nick in this key leadership role accelerates our vision for innovation and positions us well to further develop smart ways to reach more people for our mission. I love his heart and passion for why we exist, and I know his visionary leadership will only make us stronger. Like the rest of our team, he wants to see more people love Jesus, serve others, and spread Hope.”

Skytland stated, “I am honored to join Hope Media Group and contribute to a mission with a powerful legacy and an exciting future. The opportunity to help reach and form people at scale is deeply compelling to me. Throughout my career, I have been drawn to work that brings vision, technology, strategy, and people together in service of something greater. I am excited to help Hope Media Group expand the ways media and innovation encourage people to deepen their faith and experience the hope of Jesus.”
