SiriusXM has named Paramount and Spotify alum Jenny Tartikoff as SVP and Head of Communications, starting August 10. Tartikoff succeeds Maggie Mitchell, who departed SiriusXM in March for a role at AI advertising firm Moloco as VP, Head of Communications.

Tartikoff joins SiriusXM from Paramount Pictures, where she most recently served as EVP of Global Communications, guiding the company’s post-pandemic communications and release strategy. Before Paramount, Tartikoff spent five months as Spotify’s Head of Communications, Content & Advertising.

Tartikoff’s communications career stretches over two decades, beginning in broadcast journalism as a Senior Press Representative for CBS News’ The Early Show in 2001. In 2004, she stepped up to Director of Communications at NBC News.

SiriusXM President and Chief Content Officer Scott Greenstein said, “Jenny is an accomplished communications leader with the judgment, range, and industry experience to help SiriusXM tell a clear and compelling story, anchored around making SiriusXM the definitive home for audio content and fandom. Jenny’s experience across entertainment, streaming, podcasting, and advertising makes her the right leader to guide our communications into the next phase of SiriusXM’s strategy across our portfolio of audio businesses, and we’re thrilled to welcome her to the team.”

Tartikoff added, “SiriusXM brings together an extraordinary mix of brands, platforms, talent, and technology, with a unique ability to connect fans with the music, voices, stories, and cultural moments they care about. As a longtime listener, I’ve experienced firsthand the thoughtful curation and authentic experiences SiriusXM creates, which makes joining the company especially meaningful. I’m excited to partner with the leadership team and communications organization to help shape and amplify the company’s story with purpose and impact.”
