Veteran California market operator Bill Smith has been picked up by Cumulus Media to run its Oxnard-Ventura cluster. Smith, who was previously General Manager of American General Media’s Bakersfield stations, takes over as VP/Market Manager.
He also brings sales leadership experience from Hearst Television in Sacramento and News Press Gazette Television in Idaho Falls to his newly inherited four-station portfolio of 95.1 KBBY, 100.7 KHAY, 103.3 KRUZ, and 106.3 KVYB.
