Steve Jones has completed a buyout of Skyview Networks, the Scottsdale-based audio technology and syndication company he has led for the past seven years, assuming the roles of President, CEO, and Chairman. The news was confirmed in a staff memo obtained by Radio Ink.
Skyview founder Ken Thiele, alongside shareholders Diana Chamberlain and Dave Dickson, supported the transition and will remain engaged in an advisory capacity.
No stranger to the audio business at scale, Jones previously served as Vice President and General Manager for ABC Radio at The Walt Disney Company and as Vice President of Programming and Operations for ABCNEWS.com. He has appeared on Radio Ink‘s 40 Most Powerful list five times, received the Ward L. Quaal Leadership Award from the Broadcasters Foundation of America, and was named a Giant of Broadcasting by the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation.
In his message to staff, Thiele said, “First and foremost, I want to thank you all. Skyview Networks exists, and is respected across the industry, because of the talent, grit and customer commitment each of you bring every day. Since joining Skyview Networks, Steve has expanded our business portfolio and led with a steady focus on growth and stability. It is with this confidence in leadership that Skyview’s trajectory and momentum continues.”
Jones added, “Serving as the leader of Skyview Networks is a responsibility I take seriously, and I am committed to continue leading with transparency, respect and a long-term focus on our people and business.”

Congratulations Steve !
You are a true leader in the radio industry.
I wish you much success leading Skyview Networks.
