Usher Media Group is elevating three Omaha veterans as it builds out leadership at the cluster it recently acquired from NRG Media, including a new Assistant GM and a pair of Program Director promotions between Sweet 98.5 (KQKQ) and Power 106.9 (KOPW).

Stacie McElligott, who served as Director of Sales at NRG for nearly 14 years, has been named Assistant General Manager for Usher Media. McElligott began her broadcast career as a producer for 1620 The Zone (KOZN-AM) and as an on-air personality at Sweet 98.5.

Usher Media Owner Alan Usher commented, “Stacie’s promotion is really well deserved. She’s done just about everything in this business, so she understands how it all fits together. She works hard, she cares about the team, and people trust her. I’m excited to see her take on this important role for our company.”

Omaha’s own Megan Rieder has been named Program Director of Sweet, where she will continue co-hosting Spicoli + Meg Mornings. Former American Idol contestant-turned-afternoon-host Alyssa Siebken will be Power’s PD after being promoted to APD in March 2025.

Rieder said, “To lead a station like Sweet 98.5, with its history and connection to Omaha, is incredibly special. I’m grateful for the opportunity and excited to continue building something listeners love every day.”

Siebken added, “To lead Power 106.9 and continue building on the momentum of this brand is an exciting opportunity. I’m grateful for the team around me and look forward to continuing to connect with our audiences in new ways.”
