Tom Morgan is back broadcasting in Charlottesville, VA, at Saga Communications’ 92.7 C-Ville Country (WCVL). Morgan is adding Afternoon Drive to his duties as Program Director at Saga’s WSIG in sister market Harrisonburg, which is about an hour’s drive away.
Morgan hosted mornings in Charlottesville at Monticello Media’s WCYK before joining WSIG in 2023. His proximity to both markets was cited as another reason for making him a utility player.
This move reunites him with his former WCYK colleague Paul “Uncle Pauly” McDaniel, who is WCVL’s PD and Cluster Operations Manager. Morgan & The Ride Home made its debut on Valentine’s Day, introduced by Uncle Pauly alongside Big D & Bubba during a special C-Ville Country Live segment.
Uncle Pauly said, “Tom is my radio brother from another mother, you won’t find anyone that will out-work him and we both share the same goal of securing 92.7 C-Ville Country as Central Virginia’s top country station!”
Morgan added, “Saga has helped me grow so much in the last year both professionally and personally. There’s a reason everyone here says ‘welcome to the family’. It’s honor to be heard again in Charlottesville while I’m also part of an incredible team just over the mountain in Harrisonburg.”
