iHeartMedia Hartford’s Country 92-5 (WWYZ) held its 31st annual St. Jude Radiothon on December 7 and 8. The two-day broadcast was hosted by WWYZ personalities Damon & Amanda Jo in the Morning, Joey Brooks, and John “Cadillac” Saville, and pulled in $313,555.

Listeners were encouraged to contribute through online donations, text, or phone calls. All funds raised support the St. Jude’s research and services, which are utilized by numerous hospitals nationwide, including Hartford’s Connecticut Children’s.

Country 92-5 Program Director Joey Brooks said, “Our Country 92-5 listeners came through again to help St. Jude. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital does incredible work that helps kids across the world, and we are honored to join in their mission – that in the future no child will die from cancer. Congrats to the entire Country 92-5 team on an incredible 31st radiothon!”
