The National Association of Broadcasters is welcoming Ray Quiñones as its new Director of Government Relations. Quiñones’ background includes serving as policy advisor for House Energy and Commerce Committee member Rep. Darren Soto and as Congressional Hispanic Caucus whip.
He also served as campaign manager for Rep. Soto’s 2020 congressional campaign after serving as a staff assistant. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Florida.
Quiñones, who began his role effective immediately, will report to NAB Government Relations EVP Shawn Donilon.
NAB President Curtis LeGeyt commented, “Ray’s knowledge of the legislative process, understanding of broadcast issues and strategic relationships will serve him well as he advocates on behalf of America’s broadcasters on Capitol Hill. We are excited for him to join our best-in-class government relations team.”
