iHeartMedia Honolulu’s 92.3 KSSK concluded its 17th Annual “Kapi’olani Radiothon For Kids,” raising more than $820,000. The two-day radiothon for Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women & Children, Hawaii’s sole children’s hospital, occurred on November 7 and 8.

KSSK personalities Michael W. Perry & The Posse, Sweetie Pacarro, Karen Keawehawai’i, John Matthews, and Curt Williams rallied together over the two days to amass the huge sum. Over the past seventeen years, the radiothon has raised more than $4.5 million for Kapi’olani.

KSSK’s contribution brings Radio Ink‘s 2023 Season of Giving Tally to $1.67 million. Help us show how radio matters to local communities! Submit your station’s good works to our Online Editor Cameron Coats between now and the end of the year.
