Wright State Athletics has partnered with Alpha Media Dayton to broadcast the Wright State men’s basketball games on 101.5 Hank FM (WCLI) for the 2023-24 season, starting with their opening game against Colorado State on November 10.
The partnership includes the Wright State Basketball Coaches show, which will air on WCLI on select Monday nights throughout the season. Every game of the Wright State men’s basketball team, from the season opener to the postseason, will be broadcast live on WCLI over the air and via streaming. Most Wright State games will also be simulcast live on WING-AM, Dayton’s ESPN Radio station.
The radio commentary team features Chris Collins, in his 27th season as the Voice of the Raiders, and Jim Brown, a former assistant, associate, and head coach for the Raider coaching staff, now in his 11th season with the radio broadcasts.
Wright State’s Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Operations Padraic McMeel said, “We are excited about our new partnership with 101.5 HANK FM and WING 1410 ESPN Radio to provide Wright State Men’s Basketball games throughout the 2023-24 season. This partnership enhances the radio experience for our fans to enjoy the games on two stations as well as providing multiple advertising opportunities… We want to thank Justin Kinner and Alpha Media for their interest in providing radio coverage of Wright State men’s basketball and promotion all of our athletic programs.”
