The Broadcasters Foundation of America will honor Hearst’s Chief Operating Officer Jordan Wertlieb as the recipient of its 2024 Golden Mic Award. The accolade recognizes Wertlieb’s charitable efforts through the Foundation and broadcast industry contributions.

The award will be conferred at the BFoA’s annual gala, set for March 4, 2024, at New York City’s Plaza Hotel. The event’s special guests are to be announced soon. Previous Golden Mike honorees include notable executives such as Bob Pittman and David Barrett. Wertlieb is Vice Chair on the Broadcasters Foundation Board of Directors.

Broadcasters Foundation of America Chairman Scott Herman said, “We’re proud to honor Jordan for his distinguished career, commitment to broadcasting, and dedication to the charitable mission of the Broadcasters Foundation. He is a staunch believer in top-quality content that audiences want.”

Foundation President Tim McCarthy commented, “Jordan’s impressive career is matched only by his inspiring commitment to the Broadcasters Foundation. He gives his time and energy to advancing our cause, including attending our recent Media Mixer in New York City, an event designed for junior professionals in broadcasting to meet and network with top-level executives.”
