Baldwin&’s Bennett To Lead Jury For 2024 Radio Mercury Awards

The Radio Advertising Bureau has announced Mitch Bennett, Executive Creative Director at Baldwin&, as the Chief Judge for the 2024 Radio Mercury Awards. Bennett’s distinguished career is marked by innovative campaigns for Bridgestone, Volvo Trucks, and Coca-Cola.

Among Bennett’s campaigns are Coke’s personalized bottle songs and Radio Recliner, a digital station launched during the pandemic to connect assisted living residents. His work has received accolades from Cannes Lions, Time Magazine, and previous Radio Mercury Awards.

Bennett remarked, “It’s such an honor to be named chief judge for a show I love so much. I’ve always been fascinated with the tough assignment of writing a radio ad great enough to win at the Radio Mercury Awards. It’s a challenging medium with nowhere to hide – just concept, writing, and production. They all have to align perfectly. I can’t wait to gather the jury and listen to this year’s crop of contenders.”

The 2024 Radio Mercury Awards will announce its categories and entry guidelines in early January.
