After “Joey Boy” Rodriguez announced he would be leaving Audacy Chicago’s B96 (WBBM) to return to Phoenix, Live 101.5 (KALV) is rebooting The Morning Mess. Starting August 28, the show will air weekdays with original co-host Joey Boy teaming up with newcomers J.D. and Sienna.
Joey Boy originally joined Live 101.5 in 2013. The Morning Mess first aired in November 2014 and was moved to Chicago in 2022. J.D. comes of KALV comes from Boston, where he hosted a top-rated night show. He has previously worked nights in Phoenix. Sienna is an event host for the Phoenix Coyotes and an in-game host for the Arizona Diamondbacks.
A different version of The Morning Mess will continue to air on B96 in Chicago, featuring Aneesh Ratan, Jeana Shepard, and Karla Hernandez.
