UTSA Athletics and Playfly Sports have announced a new broadcast radio partnership with iHeartMedia San Antonio, expanding the reach of the UTSA Sports Media Network. Starting this season, UTSA football and men’s and women’s basketball games will be broadcast on Ticket 760 (KTKR-AM) or The Bull 93.3 (KRPT).
The new broadcast agreement strengthens the relationship between UTSA and Playfly Sports, following a multimedia rights agreement earlier this year, where Playfly became UTSA’s exclusive multimedia rights holder and sponsorship sales arm.
Andy Everett returns as play-by-play voice of the Roadrunners, accompanied by color analyst Jay Riley and sideline reporter Pat Evans, with two-hour pregame and 45-minute postgame shows for football games. Each basketball broadcast will include a 30-minute pregame and 15-minute postgame show. Neal Raphael will be the women’s play-by-play voice.
Additionally, the fourth season of the Jeff Traylor Radio Show will debut on KTKR on August 30. The UTSA Basketball Radio Show will also return in January, airing live on Ticket 760.
Everett commented, “I’m thrilled to continue as the play-by-play voice for the Roadrunners and be part of this exciting new partnership with iHeartMedia San Antonio. The expanded coverage on Ticket 760 and The Bull 93.3 will bring UTSA’s games and shows to a wider audience, enhancing the connection with fans.”
