Storytelling nonprofit StoryCorps has unveiled a new season of its podcast as part of its 20th anniversary celebration. Festivities will also include revisited classic stories on NPR’s Morning Edition. Author and former StoryCorps facilitator, Jason Reynolds, will host the 20th anniversary gala on October 17 at the Brooklyn Museum.
The fresh season of the StoryCorps podcast will feature 10 episodes that bring back notable recordings and landmark moments from the past 20 years, premiering in September.
As part of its anniversary activities, StoryCorps is offering numerous opportunities to record conversations across various initiatives. These include the 2023 StoryCorps Mobile Tour, the 2023 Military Voices Initiative Tour, the One Small Step initiative, and the 2023 edition of the Great Thanksgiving Listen.
