Viola Davis’ new podcast label Ashé Audio Ventures, in conjunction with JuVee Productions and Wise Entertainment, has signed an exclusive multi-project deal with Audible. The partnership will see the release of scripted and unscripted original audio programming from Ashé, starting in 2024.

Projects will cover genres like self-development and audio theater and will focus on showcasing emerging talent. The agreement between Ashé and Audible was born after Davis won the Grammy Award for Best Audiobook for her memoir Finding Me.

“After the outpouring of love for Finding Me, I’m excited for the opportunities that Ashé Audio Ventures and Audible will create for memorable stories to be both explored and celebrated in a meaningful new way — a way that spans borders and connects us to a shared human experience,” Davis said.

“Ashé’s mission resonates and aligns deeply with Audible,” added Audible Studios head Zola Mashariki. “We look forward to introducing original projects that reflect our collective ethos.”
