After a frequency flip with Bigfoot Poconos, Seven Mountains Media is launching POCO 103 (WPCO) in Pennsylvania starting Wednesday morning. The new station replaces Pocono 96.7, which Seven Moutains bought from Neversink Media Group earlier this year. The station’s official sign-on is scheduled for 9am and will be marked by an on-air proclamation from Stroudsburg mayor Michael Moreno, followed by the playing of Prince’s “Let’s Go Crazy.”
Gary Cee will serve as Program Director and morning show host. Cee has previously programmed at WLIR on Long Island, WPDH in Poughkeepsie, and WNNJ in Sussex, NJ. Kelli Gates and Neil Wilson will also be featured on air to start.
“We are thrilled to offer our community another outstanding radio choice here in the Poconos,” said WPCO General Manager Pat Lincoln. “Seven Mountains Media has another way to help connect our listeners and advertisers – online, on-air and in person. We look forward to growing this new brand and serving our beautiful community for many years to come.”
