Nir Zicherman, co-founder of podcast production platform Anchor, has announced his departure from Spotify in the coming fall on LinkedIn. Zicherman has been at the company for four years after Spotify bought Anchor, which is now known as Spotify for Podcasters.
Zicherman most recently held the position of VP and Global Head of Audiobooks. No information regarding a successor has been made public. Anchor’s other co-founder Michael Mignano left Spotify in May to pursue a career in early-stage investing and venture capital.
