Federal Communications Commission Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel addressed the NAB Show on Monday morning, following remarks from NAB CEO Curtis LeGeyt. In her speech, Rosenworcel took the time to praise the NAB for its 100 years of service to the broadcast industry.
However, there was little new information on the topic of radio, with Rosenworcel instead using her time to focus on the ATSC 3.0 standard. With the FCC still lacking a seat, many of the issues that radio faces with the FCC appear they will continue to remain untouched for now.
