Digital Focus Groups For All? Test Your Ad

Originally available for video and image-only commercials, System1 introduced Test Your Ad Audio on Monday. The extension of the Test Your Ad platform lets advertisers run mini-focus groups that measure and rate listeners’ emotional responses from 1 to 5.9 stars.

The program says it can now predict the short- and long-term commercial impact of audio ads running on radio and streaming services and their ability to drive market share growth. In addition to an overall star rating, the ad test reports include a Spike Rating indicating the ad’s short-term sales potential and a Fluency Rating showcasing the level of brand recognition.

“Radio continues to be a wide-reaching channel, and podcast and music streaming apps are attracting an increasing number of listeners,” said Jon Evans, Chief Customer Officer at System1. “Test Your Ad Audio gives advertisers a quick and clear way to understand whether their messaging will support brand building and get guidance to improve audio ads.”
